Working with a small, but very talented group of engineers to produce Cervélo’s key triathlon-specific bike, our primary design objective was simple: To retain as many of the features designed into it’s predecessor, the P5X, whilst reducing costs and weight.
Working with our engineering and manufacturing teams, we succeeded in not only reducing costs, but also improving usability, stiffness, and substantially reducing overall frame weight.
As the lead designer on this bike, I also aided in the execution of the product launch, as well as user manual, and customer service support.
